Introduction

This scheme is designed to provide EQA specimens for Clinical laboratories that undertake serological parasite detection. Six individual vials, each containing human serum with antibodies to one of the six different parasite species are distributed to participants who perform serological detection of those parasites. Negative serum are routinely included in the set of EQA specimens as well.
